FoCoCo is committed to making its website, WebApp and mobile applications accessible and usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing part of our product design, development and review process.
This Statement describes our current accessibility approach and planned improvements. It is not a claim that every part of FoCoCo is fully conformant or free from accessibility barriers.
1. Our accessibility goal
FoCoCo aims to design and maintain its public website, account and membership journeys, WebApp and iOS and Android applications in line with generally recognized accessibility principles. Our working target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, where those guidelines are applicable to the relevant interface and technology.
We also consider applicable accessibility requirements under European Union and Portuguese law, including Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) and Portuguese Decree-Law No. 82/2022, as amended.
2. Scope
This Statement applies to FoCoCo digital services operated by Quantum Surprise, Unipessoal Lda, including:
- the public FoCoCo website at fococo.ai;
- the FoCoCo WebApp and account experience at fococo.app;
- the FoCoCo mobile applications for iOS and Android;
- membership, checkout, account-management and support journeys controlled by FoCoCo; and
- FoCoCo legal, privacy and support content.
Third-party platforms and services, including app stores, payment providers, embedded media, authentication providers or external links, may have their own accessibility features and limitations. FoCoCo does not control every aspect of those external services, but we consider accessibility when selecting and configuring providers.
3. Measures we are taking
As FoCoCo develops, we aim to apply practical accessibility measures such as:
- clear page structure, headings, labels and instructions;
- keyboard-operable navigation and controls where applicable;
- visible keyboard focus and logical focus order;
- text alternatives for meaningful images and icons;
- sufficient color contrast and information that is not communicated by color alone;
- text that can be resized and layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and orientations;
- form fields with programmatic labels, understandable validation and helpful error messages;
- controls with accessible names and touch targets designed for practical use;
- support for screen readers and common assistive technologies where reasonably possible;
- captions, transcripts or alternatives for important audio or video content where applicable;
- avoiding unnecessary flashing, motion or time limits; and
- testing important user journeys, including registration, sign-in, membership, account settings, data export and account deletion.
4. Current status
FoCoCo is an evolving service. We are working toward consistent WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility, but we have not yet completed an independent, full-service accessibility audit and do not currently claim full conformance across every website page, WebApp view, mobile screen, third-party component or document.
Some areas may still present barriers, particularly during early releases or when a third-party component is used. Examples may include:
- new or rapidly changing features that have not yet completed full assistive-technology testing;
- some charts, visualizations or complex interactive components that may need improved text alternatives or keyboard interaction;
- third-party payment, authentication, app-store or embedded services outside FoCoCo’s direct control;
- older downloadable documents that may not yet contain complete document structure or tagging; and
- occasional differences between browser, operating-system and assistive-technology combinations.
We prioritize barriers that prevent account creation, payment, access to coaching features, account management, privacy choices, data export, subscription management or account deletion.
5. Compatibility and assistive technology
FoCoCo is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and operating systems and with commonly used accessibility features, including keyboard navigation, browser zoom, screen magnification, screen readers, voice control and mobile accessibility settings. Results may vary where a browser, operating system or assistive technology is no longer supported or has not been updated.
6. Accessible alternatives and support
If you cannot access information, complete an action or use a FoCoCo feature because of an accessibility barrier, contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service in an accessible alternative format or help you complete the relevant action.
For security and privacy reasons, we may need to verify your identity before assisting with account-specific requests. We will never ask you to send your password.
7. Report an accessibility problem
Accessibility feedback helps us improve. Please contact:
- Email: support@fococo.ai
- Subject line: Accessibility
To help us investigate, please include, where possible:
- the page, screen or feature involved;
- what you were trying to do;
- the barrier you experienced;
- your device, operating system and browser or app version; and
- the assistive technology used, if any.
Please do not include passwords, payment-card information or unnecessary sensitive information in your message.
8. How we respond
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days. We will assess the issue, explain any available workaround and provide an update where a fix requires further work. Resolution times depend on the severity and technical complexity of the issue, but barriers affecting essential account, payment, privacy or deletion functions receive priority.
9. Ongoing review
FoCoCo reviews accessibility as the service changes. Our process may include design review, automated checks, keyboard testing, screen-reader testing, device testing, user feedback and specialist review. We also aim to include accessibility requirements in work with developers, designers and relevant service providers.
This Statement may be updated when our services, legal obligations, testing status or accessibility measures change. The latest version will be published on the FoCoCo website.
